Oblivion

If I should fade away, will you speak of my existence?

If I should disappear, will you tell them I was here?

If I don’t come again, will you miss my presence?

If I don’t shed a tear, will you know I still can’t bear?

If I won’t write to you, will you look for my words?

If I won’t walk with you, will you look for a trail?

If I haven’t spoken, will you still decipher?

If I haven’t shared, will you read my soul bare?

If I can’t come near, will you discern my fear?

If I can’t love again, will you believe I tried?
